Welcome to the exciting world of remote work with BnkToTheFuture!

We are searching for a tech-savvy and experienced KYC & AML Analyst/Trainee as a Work From Home contractor. BF's fast-paced environment ensures that no two days are the same. This is a remote contract role; contractors work from home using their own secured wifi and cloud-based applications, with BF providing the necessary software. For security, contractors are requested to use an Apple Mac device (MacBook or desktop).

Job purpose, role clarity, and key responsibilities follow.

Job Purpose

You will verify and onboard new and existing investors and clients on the BF platform in the Know Your Customer (KYC) department. You will ensure all verification processes meet compliance, regulatory, and statutory obligations, including ongoing account monitoring. You will be the first point of contact for KYC-related queries across BF and provide support to the BF Support department, handling and managing KYC-related support tickets.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Investors & Client New Account Opening Processes & Ongoing Monitoring

You must maintain up-to-date knowledge of BF’s compliance obligations, internal policies, and procedures related to KYC onboarding, and carry out database administration in line with regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Verifying IDs for both individuals and organizations for new and existing accounts, including:
    • Proof of investor/client address
    • Proof of identification (facial ID verification)
    • Verifying net-worth & certification documents
    • Enhanced Due Diligence of documentation
  • Processing & Approval of Investor & Client Accounts
    • Ensuring IDs are approved in a timely and efficient manner
    • Communicating with investors/clients on ID matters to meet due diligence requirements
    • Liaising with BF teams and management
    • Managing BF Support Tickets relating to KYC matters
  • Conflicts of Interest
    • Carrying out conflicts searches, assessing results, and advising on safeguards
    • Identifying and researching potential conflicts and escalating when necessary
  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
    • Understanding AML legislation and due diligence requirements; escalate complex issues to senior team members
    • Maintaining knowledge of AML policies and red flags across jurisdictions
    • Conducting investor & client due diligence using databases to identify PEPs, adverse media, and sanctions; advising on further information or enhanced due diligence as needed
    • Raising concerns with MLCO/MLRO or wider compliance team
    • Assisting in ongoing monitoring of investors & clients and completing opening procedures promptly
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Escalating compliance risks promptly
    • Assisting in risk assessments and implementing safeguards
    • Monitoring and auditing investor & client opening and AML procedures to ensure policy adherence
    • Supporting new regulations and ongoing training to stay current
  • Person Specification – experience and attributes
    • Team player with good verbal and written English; Spanish or Filipino language skills are desirable but not essential
    • Solid understanding of money laundering framework and CDD requirements in relevant jurisdictions
    • Understanding of conflicts assessment and analysis
    • Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills
