KW Plastics in Troy, AL is seeking a transportation driver to operate company-owned CMVs in a safe, compliant manner. You will transport materials, secure loads, and maintain required logs and documentation.

The role includes loading/unloading assistance, housekeeping, and adherence to plant safety rules. Applicants should be able to work outdoors/indoors, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and lift up to 50 pounds.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Driving & Transportation Safely operate company-owned commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with DOT regulations and company policiesTransport materials, products and equipment to and from designated locationsSecure loads properly and inspect cargo for compliance and safetyMaintain accurate trip logs, bills of lading and required documentation Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT requirementsReport mechanical issues, defects or needed repairs promptlyMaintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles Safety & Compliance Comply with all DOT, FMCSA and company safety regulationsFollow hours-of-service requirements and electronic logging device (ELD) procedures as applicableAdhere to plant safety rules when operating at KW Plastics facilities locationsReport accidents, incidents or violations immediately Communication & Customer Interaction Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors and plant personnelMaintain professional interactions with customers, vendors and the public Additional Duties Assist with loading and unloading as requiredPerform related duties as assigned to support transportation operations Additional Duties General housekeepingAdditional duties as assigned.
