Position Overview

The Project Controls Analyst will support project management through cost control, scheduling, and reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for the construction industry

District Overview

Kiewit Water Facilities South specializes in constructing water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, and desalination plants across North America. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard software.
  • Monitor project costs and budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Prepare regular project status reports, including cost and schedule performance.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Assist in the preparation of project forecasts and financial reports.
  • Support the development and implementation of project controls procedures and best practices.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide insight on project performance.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in project controls, scheduling, or cost management.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites as needed.

  • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
  • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
  • May work at various different locations and conditions may vary.
