Tact, a well-backed NYC AI startup, is seeking a Platform Engineer to own and debug their Kubernetes platform while migrating workloads. This role requires strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines and IaC, particularly with Terraform or OpenTofu, and a collaborative approach to support internal developers.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years in a relevant field and hands-on experience troubleshooting live systems. The position offers a competitive salary of $140-175k, plus meaningful equity.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a platform, cloud, infra, or DevOps role.
• Real, hands-on experience with live K8s production systems.
• Ability to explain complex issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the Kubernetes platform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Iterate on the experience for internal developers.
• Contribute to the developer portal and internal tooling.
