Job summary

Artha is seeking a Mid-level Platform Engineer to help build and operate production Kubernetes environments. You will contribute to an infrastructure-first platform, writing Go, building operators, and shaping tooling that supports scalable multi-cluster deployments.

You will implement GitOps workflows with ArgoCD, use Terraform and Helm for provisioning, and work with Ceph/WEKA storage alongside Prometheus and Grafana for observability. This on-site SF role offers visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience; ~5 years preferred.
• Hands-on Go programming for Kubernetes environments and production clusters.
• Experience with distributed storage (Ceph/WEKA) and multi-cluster/federated Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with GitOps and ArgoCD; IaC using Terraform/Helm or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana; open-source infra contributions are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build platform features in Go, including custom Kubernetes operators and controllers.
• Design GitOps workflows with ArgoCD to support continuous deployment.
• Create infrastructure-as-code patterns with Terraform and Helm to provision and manage clusters.
• Work on distributed storage using Ceph and WEKA for scalable environments.
• Develop observability and monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana to surface cluster health and performance.
• Improve container networking with Cilium, focusing on security and observability.
• Design federated Kubernetes architectures for multi-cluster management.
• Build automation that reduces operational work for developers running production workloads.
