Job summary

Bayside Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to support large-scale Kubernetes-based infrastructure and platform operations in California.

This contract role focuses on building, automating, and operating highly reliable systems powering critical engineering platforms and services. You will design, automate, and operate scalable Kubernetes-based platforms, troubleshoot production environments, and drive improvements in deployment and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience across cloud platforms.
• Proficient in Python and/or Golang for IaC and tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, automate, and support scalable Kubernetes platforms and services.
• Operate and troubleshoot production environments at scale.
• Develop tooling to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
• Monitor platform health and performance with observability tools.
• Troubleshoot incidents and participate in RCA and incident response.
• Improve CI/CD workflows and deployment automation.
• Drive documentation and process improvements; own projects end-to-end.
