Job summary

Kraken, a leading crypto platform, seeks a Site Reliability/Infrastructure Engineer to help evolve and scale its Kubernetes platform across multiple datacenters. You will work with a senior team to ensure a stable, secure, and scalable foundation for all workloads.

You bring 3+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong Linux and networking knowledge, and hands-on Kubernetes internals experience. The role includes on-call rotation, automation work, and collaboration with SRE, Networking, and Security teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Site Reliability/Infrastructure/DevOps roles.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach for Kubernetes-related requests.
• Strong Linux systems knowledge and shell proficiency.
• Understanding of Kubernetes internals and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with orchestration or advanced Kubernetes networking (e.g., Cilium).

Responsibilities

• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters across datacenters.
• Triage infrastructure issues and optimize SRE workflows.
• Build automation and tooling to increase team efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotation to maintain platform reliability.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to reduce operational burden.
