Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Systems Software Engineer to develop platform software around open-source container runtimes and Kubernetes. You will design and implement in Go and C, focus on distributed systems, and help enable GPUs as first-class resources within Kubernetes.

The role involves collaboration across NVIDIA teams and ongoing design and optimization in a fast-moving Cloud Native context. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of experience, a CS degree, and a strong background in Linux

Qualifications

BS/MS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of relevant work experience.
Expert level knowledge in Go or C and solid data structures/algorithms.
Strong understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and container tech.
Experience with Linux system internals.
Cloud computing and distributed software design/development.
Understanding of performance, security and reliability in distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Work on gpu-accelerated applications in containers and Kubernetes for easier development and monitoring.
Enable GPUs as first-class resources in container orchestrators like Kubernetes.
Join the core Cloud Native group working on NVIDIA accelerators in the k8s env.
Collaborate with engineering teams across NVIDIA to ensure seamless integration.
Multitask across tracks to address evolving priorities.
