Job summary

Endurion in Tampa, FL seeks a Kubernetes Engineer to configure, deploy, and maintain clusters for IL environments, ensuring integration with ESRI services and agency infrastructure. You will optimize containerized pipelines and implement Kubernetes-native monitoring.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in CS or five years of Kubernetes experience; hands-on with Terraform or Ansible, Istio/Linkerd, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or a related field; or
• A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in Kubernetes administration.
• Deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Troubleshooting containerized applications.
• Implementing service mesh architectures such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Working with cloud infrastructure services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• The Kubernetes Engineer is responsible for configuring, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters for IL2/IL4/IL5 environments.
• Developing and managing Helm charts and Kubernetes operators for declarative deployment and automated scaling of ESRI services.
• Configure persistent volume claims and provision container-native storage (AWS EBS, Azure disks).
• Integrating Kubernetes-native monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Fluentd, OpenTelemetry).
