Job summary
NS2 Mission is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Chantilly, VA to build and operate secure containerized workloads in production. You will work with Kubernetes, Helm, Linux, and cloud infrastructure using DevSecOps practices and configuration-as-code.
Requires 5+ years in DevOps/infrastructure, a related degree, and TS/SCI with an FSP clearance. The role offers a competitive salary of $131,644 to $190,789, with comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in DevOps or infrastructure roles.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science or related field.
- Experience with DevSecOps and config-as-code.
- Hands-on container experience in production.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate containerized workloads in production.
- Support Kubernetes clusters and day-to-day ops.
- Develop workloads using Helm and deployment practices.
- Apply DevSecOps across the lifecycle.
- Automate infrastructure configuration and processes.
- Troubleshoot Linux and container networking issues.
- Monitor environments and support performance improvements.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams on deployments.
- Maintain deployment docs and operational standards.
- Contribute to reliability, security, and scalability improvements.
- Integrate data and observability platforms when required (Kafka, Elastic Stack).
