Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, communications, or related field.
• Experience in media, marketing, or sales account management.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of digital media strategies and trends.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet-based platforms.
• Reliable transportation and ability to meet with clients in person.
• Valid Oregon driver's license (or ability to obtain one); acceptable driving record and proof of vehicle insurance.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Represent KTVZ News 21 and digital marketing solutions to clients across platforms.
• Champion and communicate the strength of the brand to drive new and existing business.

As the local news leader for over 48 years, KTVZ holds a strong and trusted position in the community. We're looking for a motivated individual to champion and communicate the strength of our brand across multiple platforms, including local news, high-profile sports, prime-time entertainment, and comprehensive digital solutions.

Our sales staff enjoys a supportive and collaborative work environment, along with access to a powerful suite of tools -- including proprietary market research, audience analytics, industry insights and ongoing professional training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in sales, marketing, communications, or a related field
• Experience in media, marketing, or sales account management
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Understanding of digital media strategies and trends
