As an anchor, you will be an effective team member and make a full contribution to the success of the station. Contribute daily to make KTAR the leading provider of timely, relevant news and information. As a reporter, you will be producing stories from the newsroom and at times from the field. This on‑call role will require you to be available for varied schedules. It’s the perfect “foot in the door” opportunity for an up‑and‑comer or a great job for someone who just wants to keep their news chops fresh. Note: Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion. This position is an onsite role that requires the employee to regularly work at our Phoenix site.
Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively. Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate computer keys and general office equipment. Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time. Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
$20.00 per hour. Hourly rate to be determined by multiple factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
