Under general supervision, this position supports and/or leads, focuses on hot forming, new tool build, engineering changes, BiW and assembly equipment changes, tool improvement, and provides input regarding feasibility of tool/part/equipment changes being considered. Validates changes in tool cost, equipment cost, engineering change cost, and piece-price. Works with ramp-up and support teams (Quality, Einfuehrung, Development Hub, etc) on current series production, current project ramp-up, and future projects as directed.
Perform safe work practices and participate in trainings and safety programs in a positive and proactive way by following safety rules, procedures, regulations, standards and laws. Report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and injuries to supervisor or Human Resources. Work safely 100% of the time.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree inMechanical Engineering, Other Engineering and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of three (3) years' of relevant professional experience in the following area(s): Engineering function within a manufacturing setting with strong emphasis on hot forming and project management.
