Job description

KS2 Teaching Assistant - St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School
The role

We wish to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Teaching Assistant to work in our new Designated Provision.

They will be working with children who have communication and interactive needs and will contribute to our successful and hardworking Key Stage 2 team. We are seeking to appoint somebody who is energetic, talented and ambitious and who can inspire, challenge, motivate and support the children and colleagues.

The contract is term time only plus inset days, initially on a fixed term basis until 31 August 2026.

  • Is able to challenge, inspire and motivate children appropriately.
  • Has high expectations of learning, behaviour and care for all children.
  • Has excellent communication skills at all levels and is a team player.
