Job summary

Cascade Christian Schools - McAlder Elementary in Puyallup, WA is seeking a part-time KPrep 3's and 4's Teacher Assistant to support the Lead Teacher, implement monthly lesson plans, and foster a nurturing, Christian classroom.

Responsibilities include facilitating activities, promoting student progression, substituting for the Lead Teacher when needed, and representing Cascade Christian Schools in the community.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills required.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in implementing monthly lesson plans and classroom management.
• Create a nurturing, Christian environment in the classroom.
• Facilitate activities that meet group and individual needs of students.
• Promote educational progression of students to the next level.
• Be an advocate for Cascade Christian Schools with families and the community.
• Substitute for Lead Teacher when absent.
