Job description

Manage the overall contract and relationship with existing clients, their consultants, and third-party administrators (TPAs). Own the renewal plan, develop long-term account strategies, and lead efforts to meet client needs. Responsible for assisting assigned accounts with plan reviews, eligibility support, troubleshooting plan or member issues, report requests, and trend monitoring. Coordinate with internal departments to fulfill client needs or requests while providing day-to-day support to the Account Managers and Account Coordinators. Supervisory responsibilities include input on hiring, training, development, and performance evaluations. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare, or related discipline
  • 5+ years PBM experience, account management, and client services
  • 7+ years relevant work experience
  • Ability to set clear priorities, focus on goals, and plan for the future
  • Strong influence, leadership, negotiation, and relationship skills to drive results
  • Excellent decision-making skills; ability to gather information and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Clear and direct communication skills; approachable; effective in providing and seeking feedback; strong presentation skills
  • Attention to detail; collaborative work style; accountability; inclusive approach
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration
  • Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician
  • Experience in developing complex client-specific strategic plans and monitoring their execution
  • Serve as an account strategist, demonstrating strong project management skills
  • Oversee activities of internal account management teams and extended associates
  • Assist with new plan implementations and coordinate plan updates and changes
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to foster relationships and ensure retention
  • Utilize expertise to manage complex relationships and ensure client satisfaction
  • Build relationships with consultants, HR advisors, brokers, and TPAs
  • Develop understanding of products, benefits, and services to identify business solutions and growth opportunities
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise to drive expansions
  • Contribute to department policy development and ensure team compliance
  • Stay informed about industry policies, practices, innovations, and trends
  • Travel up to 25%
  • Perform operational tasks as needed to meet workflow and quality standards
