Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a KPO Engineer in Malden, MA to support Kaizen initiatives by analyzing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing lean tools. The role requires collaboration with the Site KPO Leader and cross-functional teams on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 5+ years in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement, with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and CAD knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• +5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; CAD knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for waste reduction.
• Develop and implement lean tools (5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, etc.).
• Support Kaizen workshops and document improvements.
• Provide technical expertise in process improvement and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
• Must be self-motivated, result oriented with a sense of urgency and adaptability.
• Understanding of mechanical components, machine design & building, mechanical, wiring, plumbing including pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge.
• Operating knowledge of machines such as manual lathes, mills, saws, press brakes, welding machines and all power tools is preferred.
• Travel to other Pursuit sites to participate and lead kaizen workshops.
