Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking a Production Engineer for its Upper Mount Bethel, PA site to optimize plant operations and safely produce quality products. The engineer will act as a technical resource for Operations, collaborating with maintenance, R&D, process development, engineering, quality and HSE to implement changes and sustain gains.

The role emphasizes KPI tracking, OEE and continuous improvement, with a typical salary in the $80k–$100k range plus a 6% annual bonus and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• Knowledge in process or production engineering; project engineering knowledge is a plus.
• Experience establishing and tracking KPIs or similar performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a technical resource on plant capability, understands plant chemistry, operations, and safety parameters.
• Assist in establishing KPIs for plant operations and monitor trends to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Track OEE and support productivity improvements through data-driven actions.
• Communicate effectively with maintenance, R&D, process development, engineering, quality and HSE.
