You will handle sophisticated transactional matters for Korean-based companies operating in the United States, including fund formation, securities, and capital markets transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience handling sophisticated transactional matters including fund formation, securities, and capital markets.
• Portable book of business with Korean-based clients conducting business in the United States.
• Excellent academics, communication, and drafting skills; admitted in good standing where practice.
• Must be admitted in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; relocation eligibility for new jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Represent Korean-based companies in broad corporate and transactional matters, including fund formation, securities transactions, capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate counseling.
• Advise clients on strategic business matters, maintain and expand client relationships, and contribute to growth of the Korean Practice.
• Provide client-focused service across domestic and cross-border issues with attention to risk and compliance.
