Pima Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach Korean in multiple modalities, including in-person, online, or hybrid formats. The college will review applications on a rolling basis for the 2025-26 year and beyond, with pool assignments based on enrollment and needs.

Adjuncts offer flexible hours and contribute to programs across modalities. Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in Korean or related fields or an equivalent combination with 18 graduate hours, plus experience teaching

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in the discipline or a related field.
  • OR Master’s degree in any discipline and 18 graduate semester hours in the field of study.
  • Experience teaching Korean courses.
  • Experience teaching online courses and/or alternative instructional formats.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct students in the content area and help them achieve academic success.
  • Follow protocols for presence, responsiveness, grading, attendance, and assessment of learning.
  • Use current, effective classroom management techniques.
  • Monitor and improve instruction to meet student learning outcomes at college level.
