Job summary

Agency is seeking a Korean–Japanese bilingual specialist for AI training and evaluation. You will review AI translations, annotate errors, and help improve accuracy, naturalness, and cultural alignment across Korean and Japanese content.

As a contractor, you’ll use linguistics expertise to verify terminology, test conversational flows, and refine prompts and guidelines with the team. Remote US-based role with contract terms.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Korean and Japanese with strong reading and writing skills.
• Experience in translation, interpretation, localization, or linguistics is a plus.

We’re looking for a Korean <> Japanese Bilingual Specialist who can bring linguistic precision, cultural knowledge, and critical thinking to training data.

You’ll work with cutting-edge AI tools, evaluate translations and conversations between Korean and Japanese, and provide structured feedback to improve accuracy, fluency, and cultural alignment. On a typical day, you will review AI-generated translations, annotate errors, assess responses for naturalness and context, and collaborate with our team to refine prompts, evaluation methods, and linguistic guidelines. Tasks may include verifying terminology, testing conversational flow, and ensuring accurate rendering of idiomatic expressions and domain-specific language.

Fluency in both Korean and Japanese is required, with strong reading, writing, and communication skills in each. Experience in translation, interpretation, localization, or linguistics is a strong plus. Attention to detail and the ability to explain linguistic or cultural nuances clearly are essential.

We offer a pay range of $8 to $65 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above.
