Tonguepoint is seeking fluent bilingual speakers to provide Over-the-Phone (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI). This role is 100% remote and US-based; you must reside in the United States and be able to work as a freelance/independent contractor with a flexible schedule.

We provide full training. You will interpret in real time (English-Korean), maintain confidentiality, and support critical communications in healthcare and legal settings.

Job Summary

Qualifications & Tech Requirements

Language: Native or near-native fluency in English and Korean.

Location: Physically based in the United States, with proof of U.S. residency (utility bill, lease, U.S. bank statement, or a U.S. ID showing a U.S. address). Puerto Rico counts as the U.S.

Skills: Strong active listening, cultural sensitivity, and emotional resilience.

Experience: Beginners welcome; prior interpreting experience is a plus.

Workspace: A quiet, distraction-free home environment.

Tech Setup: Dedicated computer, high-speed internet (wired preferred for VRI), and a noise-canceling USB headset.
