Our Client in Commerce, CA is hiring an SCM Procurement Associate to provide entry-level administrative and operational support to the procurement and sourcing team, focusing on data entry, document management, supplier communication, and system maintenance. This role reports to the Procurement Supervisor and builds a foundation in supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, accounting, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain.
• Experience or exposure to ERP systems; experience with SAP is preferred (preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, formatting, sorting/filtering).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
• Bilingual in Korean and English (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize supplier quotations and RFQ documentation under guidance.
• Perform data entry and maintain procurement records in SAP and SRM systems with accuracy.
• Communicate with suppliers on basic inquiries (pricing confirmation, lead times, document requests).
• Prepare and update price comparison spreadsheets and sourcing trackers.
• Collect and organize new supplier onboarding documentation.
• Maintain and file procurement contracts, pricing agreements, and related documents.
• Support inventory and purchase order tracking by updating internal logs and spreadsheets.
• Coordinate internally to collect purchase requisitions and consolidate sourcing requirements.
• Assist in preparing routine procurement reports (vendor lists, price history summaries, PO status updates).
• Support ad-hoc data research tasks as directed by the Procurement Supervisor or Manager.]
