The Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Supervisor will beresponsible for leading supplier sourcing, cost optimization, and contractnegotiations while supporting import and domestic procurement operations. Therole focuses on developing a competitive supplier base, driving cost reductioninitiatives, and ensuring long-term supply stability through strategicpartnerships. Location: Commerce, CA 90040. Reports to: SCM Purchasing Manager.Employment type: Full-Time Employee. Department: West SCM.
Responsibilities
- Leadsupplier sourcing activities for raw materials, packaging, and finishedgoods.
- Identify,evaluate, and qualify new domestic and international suppliers.
- Developand maintain a competitive and diversified supplier base.
- ConductRFQ/RFP processes and benchmark supplier pricing and capabilities.
- Buildlong-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
- CostManagement & Negotiation
- Leadprice, MOQ, lead time, and payment term negotiations.
- Analyzecost structures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Developand execute annual cost reduction and value improvement plans.
- Monitormarket trends and material cost fluctuations.
- Contract& Compliance Management
- Leadcontract development and renewal in collaboration with legal teams.
- Ensureall procurement contracts reflect negotiated terms and company policies.
- Monitorsupplier compliance with quality, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Supportaudit and documentation requirements.
- DataAnalysis & Performance Management
- Tracksupplier KPIs including cost, quality, delivery, and service level.
- Preparesourcing and procurement performance reports.
- Supportinventory optimization and demand planning initiatives.
- Supportnew product development through early supplier involvement.
- Alignsourcing strategies with business growth plans.
Qualifications
- 3-5+years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing
- Strongnegotiation and contract management skills
- Experiencewith international sourcing and import operations
- Excellentanalytical and communication skills
- Bachelor’sdegree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred)
- ERP/SAP/SRMsystem experience (preferred)
- Workingproficiency in Korean (reading and writing) (preferred)
Compensation
$55,000.00 To $78,000.00 Annually
