BTI Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Korean bilingual Vision System Engineer to join a diverse team focused on EV battery system techniques using vision, inspection, and data acquisition tools.

The role supports hardware, software, and network infrastructure required for development and production operations. The incumbent will commission vision cameras for 2D/3D inspection, train the Quality Team, establish test plans, and ensure documentation and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred)
• Industrial Maintenance experience 0-5+ years
• Understanding of Production and Processing equipment
• Experience with Windows-based maintenance and software tools

Responsibilities

• Develop and stand up a standalone vision controller with inspection logic
• Commission vision cameras for 2D/3D part inspection and process control
• Train the Quality Team to support vision systems in production
• Establish and execute vision systems test plans
• Document control system and equipment configuration changes
• Perform incident follow-up and root cause analysis with documentation
• Maintain and upgrade inspection equipment; perform preventive maintenance
• Coordinate with internal/external teams for complex maintenance
• Troubleshoot I/O boards, encoders, light controllers, modules and devices
• Build relationships across the organization and provide feedback for performance improvements
• Adhere to EHS safety programs and company safety policies

Korean Bilingual Vision System EngineerGeneral Description:This position is a diverse group of engineers and scientists working to develop EV battery system techniques using Vision, inspection, and data acquisition equipment. We are seeking a candidate to support the hardware, software, and network infrastructure required for these development operations.The Vision Systems Engineer will support the prevention of quality issues in advance and maximize output (yield, OEE) by establishing an inspection system, managing inspection equipment maintenance, improving inspection equipment performance, and introducing new equipment.Job Responsibility:Perform a stand-alone vision controller by using various inspection logicPerform PC based inspection program developed by the vendor that uses various inspection logicResponsible for incident follow-up, root cause analysis, and documentationCommission vision cameras for 2D/3D part inspection, and process controlTrain and equip the Quality Team to support vision systems after deployment into productionEstablish vision systems test plansDocument control system and equipment configuration changesApply inspection method to troubleshoot various statuses (I/O boards, encoder, light controller, modules, and devices)Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organizationProvide enriched feedback to enhance individual performanceComplete all safety training as assigned by the CompanyEnsure compliance with all EHS safety programs, policies, and proceduresRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred Chemical, Industrial, information system, information science, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related)Industrial Maintenance Journeyman’s certificate or equivalent preferredUnderstanding of Production and Processing equipment 0-5+ Years Industrial Maintenance Experience preferredDirect, coordinate, lead, and mentor the activities of team members.Experience with the management, maintenance, support, upgrade, and administration of a Microsoft Windows environmentPrepares and manages periodic preventive maintenance scheduleTechnician is responsible for keeping the records of all preventive maintenance and troubleshooting worksCoordinate with outside sources to schedule maintenance for more complex issuesEnsure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment following all safety requirementsPrepares and maintains maintenance related documents; daily report and check sheetOther equipment maintenance and repair tasks as assignedMust have the following competencies:Be an analytical thinker/Problem Solver/Decision MakerHave excellent time management/Resource managementOrganized planner/Attention to detailResults oriented/Takes initiativeDevelopment of others/TeamworkInnovative/CreativeBuild Relationships/Client Focused/Service MindedSelf-motivated, responsible in workPositive mindset and active personalityGreat interpersonal skills/CommunicatorBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k)retirement plan; paid time off, paid sick leave, paid holiday; life, accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D), and long-term disability (LTD) insurance; and optional voluntary life/AD&D coverage.
