Job summary

PwC invites you to join our Audit Korean Business Network Internship, where you will support audit teams on financial statement audits and learn PwC's methodologies. You will conduct basic tasks, research, and data analysis to assist in GAAP/GAAS compliance while observing seasoned professionals.

As an intern, you will develop your Korean and English communication, apply professional standards, and gain exposure to regulatory requirements, with travel up to 20% and CPA exam eligibility guidance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA.
• Fluency in Korean and English (read, write, speak) for business.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state before starting full-time at PwC
• Internship is entry-level; typically in the third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program.

Responsibilities

• Supporting audit teams in conducting financial statement audits for Korean business clients.
• Participating in the review and verification of financial documents to validate compliance with GAAP and GAAS.
• Assisting in applying auditing methodologies to enhance accuracy and reliability of audit processes.
• Engaging in data analysis and interpretation to identify financial trends and insights.
• Collaborating with team members to document processes and maintain data quality and security.
• Utilizing technical accounting skills to address complex transactions and reporting issues.
• Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies.
• Applying a learning mindset to develop personal and professional skills in a supportive environment.
