Oliver Inc. in California is seeking a 2nd shift press operator to run an 8-color double coater H-UV Komori press, set up UV/EC curing, and maintain color accuracy with CCS.

You will interpret trapping, gray balance, and SID data, run tickets to spec, and support QA while keeping the area clean and compliant with SOPs. Teamwork and precise attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in printing/pressroom required.

Step into a day on our pressroom floorYou clock in for 2nd shift and take command of an 8‑color Komori sheet‑fed press with H‑UV double coating. You cue up the next ticket, confirm customer specs, and dial in color with modern Color Control Systems (CCS). Trapping, gray balance, dot gain, and Solid Ink Density (SID) are your language. You keep the E.C./U.V. curing systems humming, switch between aqueous and UV coatings, and run production with precision.When something is unclear, you raise a hand fast—seeking clarification before a single sheet is wasted. Between jobs, you keep your area spotless, follow SOPs to the letter, and help the team hit top-tier quality benchmarks.
