Job summary

Siemens AG is seeking a Komax Machine Operator at our Wendell manufacturing site. You will operate and maintain Komax wire processing equipment to produce high-quality harnesses in a production setting, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will read electrical schematics and technical docs, perform routine maintenance, document data, and work with supervisors to improve processes. Strong teamwork and safety mindset required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical competence and attention to quality.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, technical docs, and blueprints.
• Experience with wire harness and cable assembly production.
• Proficiency in computerized machine controls and data entry.
• Familiarity with basic measuring tools (tape, calipers).
• Ability to stand long shifts and perform physical work up to 50 lbs.
• Team-oriented with good communication and safety mindset.
• English language proficiency and US work authorization.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor Komax wire processing machines (cut‑and‑strip, crimp, twist).
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot to ensure machine function.
• Inspect finished wire products and document production data and settings.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow PPE and safety protocols.
• Produce wiring harnesses per schedule and collaborate with supervisors and engineers to improve processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
