Job summary

NEXPERA is seeking an Operator I to run our HARDTAC Potassium Hydroxide production facility. The role involves operating the plant via HMI, performing QA/QC testing, and repairing or maintaining equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will monitor process parameters, collect samples, and record data while adhering to safety policies. Candidates should have a High School diploma and 1–2 years of related experience, with strong math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and comprehend English for operational, safety and quality instructions.
• Must perform basic math equations.
• 1–2 years of related experience with similar processes or environments.
• Proficient in using PPE and site safety procedures.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment and control systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a KOH production facility via HMI and monitor process variables.
• Record operating conditions and maintain logs; report variances to supervisor.
• Collect samples and perform routine QA/QC tests and record results.
• Assist in inventory management of chemicals and spares.
• Enter data into databases and prepare shipping documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the plant and work areas.
