Positive Lifting in New York City seeks a skilled Knuckle Boom Crane Operator to join a growing team. You will operate a Knuckle Boom Crane, perform daily inspections, load/unload materials, and follow lift plans on site.

The role requires a valid CDL, NCCCO certification or equivalent, and NYC HMO license, with a strong safety record and ability to work both independently and with a team. The company emphasizes safety, professionalism, and teamwork, offering stable year-round work, overtime

Qualifications

• Knuckle Boom Crane operator experience required.
• Valid CDL Driver's License.
• NCCCO Crane Certification or equivalent.
• NYC Hoisting Machine Operator (HMO) License.
• Strong crane safety & load securement knowledge.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a Knuckle Boom Crane.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Load, unload, and properly secure materials.
• Execute lifts safely while following lift plans and job site requirements.
• Read work orders and follow dispatch instructions accurately.
• Maintain equipment in clean, professional operating condition.
• Report maintenance or mechanical issues immediately.
• Complete all required inspection reports and paperwork.
• Follow all OSHA, DOT, DOB, and company safety regulations.
• Maintain a professional attitude with customers, coworkers, and project managers.
• Represent Positive Lifting with professionalism on every job site.
