Positive Lifting in Queens, NY, is seeking a skilled Knuckle Boom Crane Operator for our growing team. This full-time role offers a long-term career with a leading NYC crane and rigging company.

You will operate a Knuckle Boom Crane, perform inspections, load and secure materials, and follow lift plans on diverse job sites. We offer competitive pay, ample overtime, PTO and vacation opportunities, modern equipment, and year-round steady work.

Qualifications

• Knuckle Boom Crane operation experience required.
• Valid CDL license.
• NCCCO Crane Certification (or equivalent).
• NYC HMO license.
• Strong safety and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Knuckle Boom Crane safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Load, unload, and secure materials correctly.
• Execute lifts following plans and job site requirements.
• Read work orders and follow dispatch instructions accurately.
• Maintain equipment in clean, professional condition.
• Report maintenance or mechanical issues immediately.
• Complete inspection reports and paperwork as required.
• Follow OSHA, DOT, DOB, and company safety regulations.
• Maintain a professional attitude with customers, coworkers, and project managers.

• Safely and efficiently operate a Knuckle Boom Crane.

• Maintain a professional attitude with customers, coworkers, and project managers.
• Represent Positive Lifting with professionalism on every job site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a Knuckle Boom Crane (required).
• Valid CDL Driver's License.
• Current NCCCO Crane Certification (or equivalent).
• NYC Hoisting Machine Operator (HMO) License.
• Excellent understanding of crane safety and load securement.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clean driving record is a must!
