Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is looking for a Knowledge Management Specialist – SharePoint Administrator to join the Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) Mission Training Complex (MTC) team in Washington state. This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Knowledge Management functions and administer the SharePoint portal for JBLM MTC.
  • Develop and implement knowledge management initiatives under guidance from the Program Manager and MTC Government.
  • Oversee the MTC SharePoint web portal, handling sensitive government data.
  • Represent the government at meetings and conferences as needed.
  • Coordinate with MTC Knowledge Management Leads on content management.
  • Design and test knowledge initiatives, utilizing modern technology to enhance information flow.
  • Manage the SharePoint website, ensuring it informs staff and customers effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with 6+ years of knowledge management/SharePoint experience, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, OR
  • Master’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience in web design within SharePoint or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of web interface design, collaboration tools, and workflow processes.
  • Active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Understanding of knowledge architecture and flow.
  • Availability to work on-site in Washington and travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Computing Environment (CE) certification.
  • 10+ years military experience.
  • Knowledge of TS-MATS system.

Salary range: $81,300 - $121,900. Benefits include health insurance, life/disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays, and PTO. The application period is approximately 20 days, subject to change.
