Job summary

Constellation is seeking a Knowledge Management Analyst to join our Homeland Security team in Washington, DC. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior federal leadership, anticipating client needs, driving project workstreams, and delivering polished executive deliverables in a fast-paced and changing environment.

The Analyst will support agency leadership in various workforce knowledge management efforts such as lunch and learns, SharePoint file repository management to support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years proven experience as a government consultant or support contractor presenting data to senior government leadership.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with tools such as Adobe In-Design, Camtasia, Microsoft Stream, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with client needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Editing recorded training videos and producing transcripts using Camtasia and Microsoft Stream.
  • Compiling reports, editing transcripts, and maintaining accurate records to support knowledge sharing.
  • Drafting position descriptions, policies, SOPs, decision trees, and process workflows.
  • Maintaining SharePoint sites, ensuring secure file management and up-to-date content.
  • Managing communication channels and distribution lists for efficient information sharing.
  • Collaborating across teams to support projects and administrative initiatives.
  • Facilitating client meetings, capturing notes, and documenting lessons learned.
  • Developing and maintaining tracking tools, executive presentations, and communication materials using Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign.
  • Creating project timelines, tracking dependencies, and supporting project execution.
  • Developing organizational communication products, including executive briefs, handbooks, training decks, and one-pagers.
  • Conducting skills gap analyses and supporting workforce succession planning with senior leadership.
  • Supporting data governance, taxonomy, and document management standards across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must have the following experience, background, and credentials:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years proven experience as a government consultant or support contractor collecting, analyzing, preparing, and presenting data to senior government leadership.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with tools such as Adobe In-Design, Camtasia, Microsoft Stream, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and for our client, understanding their needs and work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SharePoint.
  • U.S. citizen able to pass a background investigation by the client agency. DHS clearance with CBP, or DoD Top-Secret preferred.
