Job summary

Appnovation Technologies is seeking a Data Architect / Engineer to own the data structures behind our graph-RAG platform and the ingestion pipelines that feed content from sources like SharePoint and the Microsoft stack. You will define the schema, taxonomy, and graph model for knowledge domains and drive architectural decisions for scalable data workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong data modeling across relational and graph paradigms.
• Experience building large-scale ETL pipelines in Python.
• Proficient in SQL and data governance practices.
• Excellent cross-team communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of RAG and LLM retrieval data flows.

Responsibilities

• Define schema, taxonomy, and graph models for knowledge domains.
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines from enterprise content sources.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across pipelines.
• Collaborate on backend architecture decisions (e.g., Supabase/Postgres).
• Monitor, alert, and handle errors in ingestion jobs.
• Document data models and pipeline architecture and optimize costs.
