Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Back-End Engineer to design, build, and operate data infrastructure powering an AI-driven platform. You will map source data to ontology models, hydrate graphs, and optimize SPARQL queries while developing robust ingestion pipelines and scalable APIs.

We value 3+ years in semantic technologies, graph databases, and vector storage, plus proficiency in Python or Java and relational DB design.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience with Knowledge Graph data hydration and ontology-based mapping.
• Experience with RDF, SPARQL, and semantic technologies.
• 3+ years with graph databases and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• 3+ years with relational DBs (PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server).
• 3+ years deploying vector databases in production.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for automation and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Hydrate data into Knowledge Graphs by mapping sources to ontology models.
• Develop data mapping and transformation workflows.
• Write and optimize SPARQL queries for loading, validation, retrieval.
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines from enterprise systems.
• Design and optimize relational schemas to support graph hydration.
• Deploy and maintain vector DB infrastructure for embeddings and retrieval.
• Design scalable graph query APIs for internal use.
• Performance-tune graph queries and indexing strategies.
• Own containerization, deployment, and monitoring of graph services.
• Ensure data quality, ontology alignment, and data security.
