Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Back-End Engineer to design and operate data infrastructure powering an AI-driven knowledge platform. You’ll build APIs, data pipelines, and multi-model databases, owning reliability and performance across the stack.

Strong background in RDF, SPARQL, and semantic tech is essential, with broader data and service layer responsibilities across ingestion, storage, and retrieval at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Knowledge Graph data hydration and ontology mapping.
• Strong understanding of RDF, SPARQL, and semantic technologies.
• 5+ years with R2RML or similar mapping frameworks.
• 5+ years experience with graph databases and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• 5+ years experience with relational databases and query optimization.

Responsibilities

• Hydrate data into Knowledge Graphs by mapping source data to ontology models.
• Develop data mapping and transformation workflows using R2RML or similar.
• Write and optimize SPARQL queries for graph loading, validation, and retrieval.
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines and integrate data from enterprise systems.
• Design and optimize relational database schemas and queries to support graph hydration and ETL workflows.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain vector database infrastructure for embedding storage and semantic retrieval.
• Design and maintain scalable graph query APIs for internal teams.
• Performance-tune graph queries, indexing strategies, and data access patterns.
• Own containerization, deployment, and monitoring of graph services in cloud environments.
• Ensure data quality, ontology alignment, and secure handling of sensitive data.
• Collaborate with ontologists, architects, and product teams to support Knowledge Graph implementations.
