Job summary

Derex Technologies INC is seeking an experienced Knowledge Graph Architect to lead enterprise data modernization efforts for a major client. The contractor will drive semantic data modeling, knowledge graphs, and AI-enabled data solutions, with hands-on work on graph databases and integration with Duck Creek OnDemand.

The role requires architecting scalable data architectures, aligning with senior stakeholders, and delivering GraphRAG-enabled AI capabilities in a remote US/Canada setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Enterprise/Data/Solution Architecture experience.
• Knowledge Graphs, Ontologies, RDF, OWL, SPARQL, and Semantic Data Modeling.
• Hands-on experience with graph databases: Neo4j, Microsoft Fabric Knowledge Graph, Amazon Neptune, TigerGraph.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and Enterprise Data Architecture.
• Knowledge of GraphRAG, LLM integration, and AI-driven data solutions.
• Experience with Duck Creek OnDemand and enterprise integration architecture.
• Strong understanding of Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, and event-driven architecture.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise business and technology stakeholders on enterprise architecture and data modernization.
• Lead requirements gathering and translate business needs into scalable data architecture solutions.
• Design and implement enterprise ontologies, knowledge graphs, and semantic data models.
• Architect graph database solutions using Neo4j, Microsoft Fabric Knowledge Graph, Amazon Neptune, or TigerGraph.
• Build GraphRAG architectures to support enterprise LLM and AI initiatives.
• Design integrations with Duck Creek OnDemand (Policy, Billing, and Claims) and enterprise integration platforms.
• Define Canonical Data Models and event-driven integration using Kafka or Azure Event Hubs.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Data & Knowledge Graph Architect to lead enterprise data modernization initiatives for an insurance client. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, driving enterprise architecture, semantic data modeling, knowledge graphs, and AI-enabled data solutions. The ideal candidate will design scalable enterprise data architectures, integrate with Duck Creek OnDemand, and enable GraphRAG-powered AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Duck Creek Integration Hub, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Cloud.
• TOGAF or other Enterprise Architecture certifications.
