Position Summary

Knockout workers work under minimal supervision to perform all levels of removing ceramic casts.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $26.00/hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Keeps accurate count and records function completed on route card.
  • Inspect Hoist machine every morning before use
  • Remove shell (Ceramic) from castings using provided tools
  • Maintain department and back yard clean at all times

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Short-term on-the-job-training
  • High School Diploma preferred not required
  • Requires basic math skills
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Ability to understand basic English
  • Be able to follow basic instruction and work direction
  • Ability to work independently when required

Physical Demands and Work Environment

1- Day Shift Opening- Hours are from 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday through Friday. Overtime Work required depending on department demands. Must be available to work nights/weekends and/or rotate shifts when needed.
