Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Second Shift Kitting Technician in Phoenix. You will assemble, inspect, clean, package, and kit machined parts and bought-in items for customized kits in a fast-paced clean room environment.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, a forklift certificate or training within 30 days, and at least 6 months of experience in a complex kitting/assembly setting. Great training and advancement opportunities are offered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and produce quality work in a clean room environment.

• Use tools to assemble parts accurately and safely.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position: Second (2nd) Shift Kitting Technician

Shift: Wed - Sat 7:00pm –; 5:30am

Pay: $25.75 per hour

Kitting Technician Role Profile

Role Purpose: The kitting technician will be required to assemble, inspect, clean, package and kit machined parts and bought-in items necessary for various customized types of kits.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible to assemble components and produce quality work, free from errors in a clean room environment.
• Responsible for area and tool maintenance & cleanliness.
• Responsible for various complex assembly work of modified parts to produce customized kits.
• Responsible for inventory management and control.
• Knowledge and ability to use tools to assemble parts.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure production goals are met.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Education And Experience

• Associate Degree or equivalent in a related field of study
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• Must have 6 months experience in a complex kitting, assembly environment
