Job summary

MSI Express is seeking a Production Scheduler for 1st shift in Grand Prairie, TX. You will develop and manage the daily kitting schedule, balancing customer priorities, backlog, component availability, and line capacity.

The role requires regular communication with the customer to confirm priorities and daily updates on project status. Responsibilities include publishing schedules, updating plans as needed, and ensuring procedures and safety are followed.

Qualifications

• Must understand WMS & ERP & Oracle systems.
• Working knowledge of the kitting process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of warehouse operations and production environments.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure.
• Experience with forklift operations and safety procedures.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions and perform basic math.
• Ability to operate office and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop the daily activities of the kitting department.
• Create weekly schedules using customer priorities, backlog, components, and line capacity.
• Publish daily status updates on projects and update schedules as needed.
• Coordinate with customer daily to understand kitting priorities.
• Follow and enforce work procedures and safety rules.
