Multi-Color Corporation in Mason, OH is seeking a Kitting – Pre-Press Assistant for 2nd shift (1:45 pm – 10:00 pm) with initial 1st shift training. You will gather, kit and stage components for upcoming production orders to be set up on press and assist with changeovers.

Responsibilities include maintaining production communication, learning inventory processes and press terminology, and preparing kits per SOP.

Competenze

• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions and SOPs in English.
• Basic math skills for measurements and unit conversions.
• Willing to work occasional overtime.
• Trustworthy, flexible, and dependable with good attendance.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to complete high volumes of work.
• Lean and 6S mindset; focus on safety.

Mansioni

• Maintain communication with the production team at all times.
• Learn inventory processes and press terminology.
• Learn company specialized computer software and perform tasks in the system.
• Accurately prepare a kit for each upcoming production job.
• Follow the press schedule and stage the next job per workorder and SOP.
• Assist with changeover activities including wash-up and setup.
• Disassemble kits and return used items to storage locations.
• Act as a resource to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
