Job summary

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons company, in Stevensville, MD, is seeking an Order Picker - Kitting Specialist to join the Production Team. This onsite role focuses on picking materials for CFLAKs, servers, and other products, with duties spanning inventory, kitting, assembly, and shipment preparation.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, U.S. citizenship, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, forklift certification or willingness to obtain it, and familiarity with assembling

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift Certification or ability to become forklift certified.
• Familiarity with assembling and troubleshooting computers (e.g., has built a PC from scratch).
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Works well on a team and follows verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work under compressed deadlines and multitask across various projects.

Responsibilities

• Review build schedules with the Production Team to ensure materials are picked and staged for current and upcoming projects.
• Assist with receiving inventory and logging into the inventory tracking system.
• Retrieve, unpack, and verify inventory, routing components to correct locations.
• Use pick lists and build guides to gather subcomponents and cables for server and kit builds.
• Organize and bundle components into assembled kits for shipment.
• Assist in quality control checks to ensure correct parts and quantities are included.
