Hillphoenix is seeking an Assembler II - Kitting on the 3rd shift in the Operations department in Keosauqua, IA. The role focuses on coordinating and expediting material flow, reading BOMs and job orders, and preparing parts for production.

Responsibilities include moving and staging materials, communicating progress with supervisors, identifying equipment maintenance needs, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Ability to read blueprints and use handheld tools is valued.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.
• Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials to meet production schedules.
• Move totes to tables, checking to ensure all parts are complete, moving parts to shelves, and making copies of paperwork.
• Confers with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
• Identify maintenance needed on equipment and tooling.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require.
• Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
• Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on individual’s product line or work cell.
• Perform other duties as assigned
