Job summary

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Nursery Care Technician I to maintain and care for animals in the nursery, including kittens, and to assist with Foster Coordinator interactions.

You will work with volunteers and veterinary staff, perform daily cleaning, feeding, bathing, and grooming, monitor health, manage inventories, and provide compassionate, professional care to every animal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with animal care preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work all shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist bottle-feeding and care for kittens.
• Provide compassionate care to all animals.
• Daily cleaning to prevent contamination.
• Adhere to PPE and safety procedures.
• Feed and water as directed by management.
• Provide exercise and enrichment to animals.
