Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality in Miami, FL is seeking a Kitchen Worker (Utility Staff) to help keep food and beverage areas clean and organized, performing deep cleaning, area prep, storage organization, and safety compliance. You will assist with receiving orders, manage trash, and support department operations.

Candidates should meet HS diploma/ GED, be able to lift 50 lbs, stand 8 hours, and obtain a Gaming License; willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays; and comfortable in a

  • Strong Food and Beverage product knowledge
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Must work with chemicals
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
  • Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
  • Must have a Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
  • Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment

Responsibilities

  • Deep cleans all kitchen ovens, sinks, freezers, coolers, griddles and other dirty restaurant equipment.
  • Prepares all food and beverage areas.
  • Cleans walls, floors and ceilings.
  • Cleans and organizes all storage areas including the main freezer, cooler and dry storage.
  • Assists in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all food and beverage areas.
  • Follows all safety guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Knowledgeable of the MSDS book.
  • May assist with receiving orders.
  • Ensures that all trash cans are changed on a regular basis.
  • All other duties as needed.

The Kitchen Worker (Utility Staff) ensures cleanliness and organization in food and beverage areas. Responsibilities include deep cleaning equipment, preparing areas, organizing storage, and maintaining safety standards.
