CountryHouse Granite Bay is seeking a Kitchen Utility Worker to keep the kitchen clean and organized while supporting the culinary team. This part-time role offers hands-on training and a chance to contribute to a warm dining experience for residents.

You will assist with meal prep, dishwashing, and daily kitchen operations, while upholding safety standards and a welcoming atmosphere for our senior residents. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a genuine desire to help others.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, dishwashing, or food service experience is helpful but not required.
• Physical stamina to stay active, stand for long periods, and lift items.
• Positive attitude with dependability and enthusiasm.
• Attention to detail to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness: wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep kitchen organized: maintain clean, safe, and organized kitchen, dishwashing, and food prep areas.
• Support meal service: assist culinary team with meal prep, plating, and dining room setup.
• Follow safety standards: sanitation, food safety, and infection prevention practices.
• Handle daily cleaning: sweep, mop, trash, and sanitize surfaces to keep a welcoming environment.
• Work as a team: support coworkers with daily kitchen tasks to ensure smooth dining operations.
• Create positive experiences: interact with residents and team members in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner.
