Job summary

Aramark at Montreat College is seeking a General Utility Worker to support food service operations. You'll be responsible for cleaning dishes, maintaining sanitation, and ensuring a safe, clean kitchen environment.

The role offers opportunities to grow within a service-driven team; flexible hours including evenings and weekends may be required; training is provided and adherence to safety policies is expected.

Qualifications

• Basic sanitation procedures understood.
• Able to follow safety protocols due to exposure to chemicals.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management.
• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
