Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time or part-time Kitchen Utility Team Member to join our team at Yavapai Hotel in Grand Canyon, Arizona. Ensuring the health and safety of guests through exceptional standards of cleanliness, both in the kitchen and food and beverage serving equipment, is the core of this role. Pay

$15.00 - $15.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen items, using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Keep all kitchen wares storage areas clean and orderly.
• Clean work and cooking areas including equipment, floors, and walls.
• Ensure that all levels for sanitizer on dish machines and pot sinks are at the specific requirements.
• Remove waste, cleans and sanitizes garbage cans.

• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others in a fast-paced environment.
• No experience required.

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place on high and low shelving.
• Frequent reaching, twisting at the waist, bending, and squatting.
• Pushing and pulling in use of mops and brooms and will occasionally move equipment.
• Exposure to possible cuts, scalds, burns, slipping and tripping, and contact with chemical cleaning agents.
• Ability to withstand temperatures in a hot and damp kitchen environment.
