Job summary

Compass Group USA, partner Levy at Northwest Stadium in Landover, MD, is seeking a Kitchen Utility Steward. Open Interview Day on June 13th for multiple roles; you must be 18+ to apply. Location: Northwest Stadium, Landover, MD.

Parking is free; interview times run 11:00–15:00 and 16:00–19:00. As a Kitchen Utility Steward, you will perform basic cleaning, operate dishwashers and sanitation equipment, handle waste, and assist with banquet and front-of-house setup as requested.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Operates large electric machines like dishwashers and trash compactors.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
• Separates and removes trash, and cleans garbage cans.
• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and equipment.
• Transports supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup as needed.
• Assists with loading/unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies and portable equipment as required.
• Complies with sanitation and safety requirements.

Summary

Perform job duties required to maintain kitchen work areas, kitchen equipment in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.


• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.


• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.


• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.


• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food preparation machines and equipment.


• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.


• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.


• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.


• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.


• Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
