Job summary

Aramark in Williamsburg, Virginia is looking for a General Utility Worker to maintain cleanliness of dishes, equipment and the work environment. You will support daily kitchen operations and uphold safety and sanitation standards as part of a team of service stars.

This hourly position offers $19.50 per hour with flexibility to work evenings and weekends; there is no fixed application window and benefits vary by location.

Qualifications

• Understands basic sanitation procedures.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to chemicals.
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment and utensils to be cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas clean.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition; report issues to management.
• Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude toward guests, customers and coworkers.
• Follow Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.
• Ensure the security of company assets.
